Purpose of the development: We have more than 17 years of experience in bottle blowing machinery and 28 years of experience in bottle manufacturing. Based on our experience, continuous product innovation is essential based on customer feedback and market trends.
One of the innovative developments in our current PE UNI range is a faster running machine that can achieve a more uniform bottle wall thickness. The uniform wall thickness allows for better quality bottle blowing with less material consumption and of course cheaper product production.
We want to automate the welding of the complex geometry of our blower frames. We put a special emphasis on the thickness of the frame material and excellent welding, so we have produced a custom-designed semi-automatic welding robot. The dimensions of the blower frame (3.7×2.2×3.3m) justify the rotator's 3 t load capacity, its maximum gripping dimensions of 6 m long and 3 m wide.
The 6-axis movement of the robot arm is unique, as is the length of the track. The robot is designed with clamping templates to ensure fast and accurate replacement of custom-made parts. The possibility of manual intervention due to the custom manufacturing justifies the semi-automatic mode of operation, so the robot can be started manually if a more complex task needs to be performed.
